A girl never forgets her first...
magazine cover, that is.  The fruits of the tortourous Mann About Town shoot (8 fucking hours in a corset, with way too much fake hair) have been birthed into the world.  Mann About Town is a magazine for rich old people, as evinced by the ads for Park Avenue condos.  I think I'm meant to seem hip.

Big thanks to Amber Ray, for making me look ladylike despite the horsehair and fake lashes.



I'm way too tired to sit at my MoCCA booth.  If you're there, try me tomorrow and I'll be in a better mood.  Damn the organizers for putting it on the same day as Big Apple Con, Mermaid Parade, Pride, AND the big anime convention.

I hope you didn't really go to Mermaid.Because you didn't miss anyhting.(Unless you've never went to a Mermaid parade.)

That sucks. I danced at the Parade for two years, and even performed at the ball. I expected it to be awesome, since it's the last parade pre-Gentrifacation.

Well, it's not so much that it wasnt awesome, it was just...it was like the St Patrick's Day parade.No shit.Ive been going to them for years, and in the beginning at least you could breathe.But it was just...insanely packed.I mean, it's always bad, but it gets jacked up every year.Like, it would take you a half hour to move 2 feet, no shit.It was 100 degrees outside, and 200 degrees inside Rudy's.
Honestly, anyone who went to Mocca or Big Apple was MUCH better off. (i'm not much into Anime, I don't care about that, so much.)

Well done, that's a fab cover :)

And the Mermaid parade, that's such a sod. I went to Coney for the first time in April and was awe struck/appalled as to how good it was :)
